Lion of Judah Hitmaker Releases New Album
Lebo Sekgobela, The Gospel singing sensation who showed up on South Africa and the world’s radar in 2016 with her explosive gospel hit Lion of Judah plans on making the same waves with her new album Umusa.
Her new double-disc album recorded live at Rhema Bible Church in March carries on the momentum she enjoyed from the release of 2016 LP Restored. Just like her previous album fans can anticipate 20 songs that will take you through every emotion that you’d experience on a journey with Christ.
The gospel songstress told the Sowetan that she never anticipated the massive success of Lion of Judah, however, South Africans have an ear for music and she believes the same will happen with this album.
When asked how she deals with her success and life of the stage the powerful singer said; “Music is my life and ministering is a lifestyle, so I cannot divide myself from my gift. Everything that happens, it has been set to happen the way it has, there is no coincidence. It’s through God that we have what we have, including this gift. I cannot live without the spirit of God, for He is the one directing my path. True intimacy with God through music is only when you have a relationship with God himself, allowing an intimate moment with him.” She told Channel24
